This music store is a little different from most others. Take a look at some of the good quirks.

It's a family business, owned and operated by Beth and Bert Townsend, with some help from their family. There are a few valued employees who don't share a TES&T gene, too.

While you browse, you'll find the environment open and bright. There are windows in every room. There are no floor to ceiling shelves.

If a guitar is what you're after, you are in for a treat. There are usually about 120 guitars in stock. That's more than any other store in Nova Scotia. There are more lefties, too. There are at least five acoustic and electric left-hand guitars on site.

While you aren't shopping, you can enjoy Melody Acres, a grassy green wooded park on site.
